Little’s formidable achievements with the RNAS meant that he is not on the commemorative walls at the Australian War Memorial (AWM) reserved for those who died in Australian units. He is, however, one of seven Australians listed in the AWM Commemorative Book (a Roll of Honour of those who served in non-Australian forces) as having been killed flying with the RNAS during the First World War.

His official tally of confirmed victories was forty-seven. Of these, twenty were credited as destroyed, two as captured, and twenty-five as "out of control". He was also believed to be responsible for many others driven down or forced to land, which were not counted in his official total. This score made him the most prolific Australian ace of all time. He ranks eighth among all British Commonwealth aces of World War 1, and fourteenth of all World War I aces.

TABLE OF VICTORIES

Victories 1-4 were scored while flying a Sopwith Pup.
Victories 5-28 were scored flying Sopwith Triplanes.
Victories 29-47 were scored flying Sopwith Camels.
