When it was announced that ‘Dinner is Served’, the members repaired to the Ballroom for the meal. Seating was, as per the recent tradition, arranged by ‘Chapter’ to allow former colleagues to continue to reminisce. Resplendent on the President’s table was the Geoffrey Bromet Memorial Trophy, which had been reclaimed from the Squadron by the Association and was now kept in the RAF Club for safekeeping. Following Grace, which was read by Ben Laite, the members tucked into a sumptuous meal prepared and served with the usual expertise by the Chef and staff of the Club.
