The Association deeply regretted to announce that Flight Lieutenant Harry (Tap) Tapner, who served with 208 Squadron in Italy and Palestine in between 1944 and 1946, passed away at the age of 95 on 8 May 2019. John Pascoe-Watson - In Memoriam
It was with great sadness that the Association announced the passing of Flight Lieutenant John Pascoe-Watson, who served with 208 Squadron in Palestine and Egypt from June 1948 to December 1950. 208 Squadron Goes To War
10th June 2020 marks the 80th Anniversary of the Italian declaration of war in 1940, therefore bringing 208 Squadron, then based at Qasaba, near Mersa Matruh in Egypt, directly into WWII.
